High School Challenge Camp
Ages 15-18
This camp is designed to attract high school boys from both varsity and junior varsity levels of play. Working with some of the best collegiate coaching available, players will focus on individual skills in the morning and put what they have learned to the test in the afternoon's scrimmage and tournament style play.
Enrollment is limited to 120 players to provide campers with an opportunity to learn from and be seen by some of the top collegiate coaches. |
Youth Challenge Camp
Ages 10-14
The goal of this camp to teach the fundamentals of boys lacrosse, while ensuring each player receives a new appreciation for the game. The camp provides extensive individual instruction, along with daily participation in actual games. The camp uses a hands-on approach to teaching the necessary skills to be an outstanding team player. The 8:1 camper-to-staff ratio is one of the best you will find at any camp. |
Camp Staff This year’s staff will include some of the top college coaches and players from the Western United States. Many of the Pac-10 lacrosse teams, including top college players from California, will be represented on the staff.
Also included will be East Coast Division I and III players and coaches and former MLL and NLL professional players. This year's staff will elevate campers to the next level of play.

Overnight camp: $525, including housing, three all-you-can-eat meals per day, the finest individual and team instruction available to improve players’ skills and enjoyment of the game.
Extended day camp: $425, instruction from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily, including lunch and dinner. |

Safety and Supervision
The camp staff is committed to giving campers an outstanding lacrosse experience in a challenging and safe environment. The coaches will live in the resident's halls with the campers and provide 24 hour supervision. The camp will have a qualified trainer on-site for all games and practice sessions.
To ensure player safety in the summer heat, the camp will have water, ice, towels and shade tents on the fields for the campers. |
Bruce and Steve Dini
Camp Directors
Bruce and Steve Dini have been involved in Northern California lacrosse since 1985 having coached at both the high school and college levels. The Dinis have been running camps in Northern California for more than ten years and have lead All-Star teams all over the globe.
Steve has been a head coach at both the high school and college levels over the past 15 years. His career includes three seasons at Chico State University and five seasons at the University of California, Berkeley. Steve coached the Bears through the 2008 season that ended with a 10-6 record and included stunning upsets of the University of Oregon and Stanford University. In the 2007, Coach Dini led the team to an impressive central conference championship and to their first Western Conference Final Four appearance in five years. Steve began his coaching career in Marin in the 90's coaching Southern Marin Lacrosse and
Marin Catholic High School.
Bruce is in his seventh season as the Head Coach at Carmel High School. He is the US lacrosse High School Area Chairman for Central California, and is a four-time high school Coach of The Year recipient. In 2003, he founded the Carmel Invitational Lacrosse Tournament, and recently represented the West Coast as part of the selection committee for the 2008 World Champion US U-19 team.
The Dinis have taken teams of all levels to every major tournament in the United States and abroad. Their exposure to the national and international game is unsurpassed amongst their peers. |
